Thumbnails generator
Thumbnails generator is one of the administrative modules used in E-learning platform for generating bitmap representations of e-learning course screens in a predefined width and height. Screen's thumbnails are mainly used in Course TOC and Keyword Views as well as on the watched sceens history list.
Thumbnails generator is based on a component written to generate thumbnails and allows to generate thumbnails for different courses and different ranges of screens. The component is also used in E-learning Course Designer where it operates in the background updating bitmaps of changed screens automatically. You can find more about it in accomplished projects.
Webcaster 1.0
In the first half of the year 2007 I developed Webcaster application, a multimedia presentations presenter.
Webcaster is mainly used to archive and make traditional presentations accessible over the Internet. You can find more in accomplished projects.

Workshop sessions during the 40th Meeting of Polish Physicists
During the 40th Meeting of Polish Physicists which took place this year in Cracow (September 7th-9th) together with instructional designer Patryk Wolny I ran three workshop sessions to reveal our new e-learning platform and a multimedia physics course.
The platform and the course are rich internet applications (RIA) based on Adobe Flash Platform and are available free of charge on platforma.edu.pl.

E-learning course designer is one of e-learning educational platform's modules developed to manage e-learning content.
The application's interface is ment to support many languages. You can see some kind of mess in screenshots presented in my eportfolio (Polish and English language strings) as it is my private developer version of the appliaction. You can find more in accomplished projects.

European eLearning Summit 2008 (EeLS)
The European eLearning Summit (EeLS) took place this year in Nottingham (UK) over the period 19th to 21st August. The summit venue was the East Midlands Conference Centre located at Nottingham University.
The conference was Europe's premier meeting and training event for all things eLearning. My lecture's during the conference was about Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex as tools for developing and delivering on-line learning experiences.

Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex are great tools for creating and delivering interactive content like instructional media, engaging presentations, games and more. These tools can be also used for developing content and learning process management systems (CMS - Content Management Systems, LMS - Learning Management Systems).
Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex are both similar and different. The knowledge of the differences and similarities means less development cost and gives more chance for e-learning project to be a successful one.
This session will provide a
comparison of Adobe Flash and Adobe Flex from the software
architect/developer and instructional designer perspectives and will
also provide an overview and some examples of using these tools in an
e-learning context.
FlexCamp in Cracow
There was a FlexCamp in Cracow on June the 1st, 2008. The event was organized by (Polish Adobe Flex User Group - Adobers.org) and was targeted to RIA/ Adobe Flex developers and enthusiasts. The meeting lasted a few hours. There were famous presenters presenting lectures. More information can be found on the event's web site at adobers.org/flexcamp.
I had a 3-hour presentation during the meeting about developing client side RIA/Flex applications and communication methods. More about mine and other presentations can be found here.
Adobe Flex 3 - Essential Training
From April the 2nd to April the 4th 2008 I was leading 21 hour Adobe Flex 3 essential training. The training was hosted by IT-Media company, as far as I know, the only Adobe Certified Training Centre in Poland. The training was prepared by me exclusive for programmers working in Betware company. There is more information about this trainig available in Polish.
Adobe AIR & Flex 3 - a meeting with members of Adobe Creative Suite User Group in Poland
On February the 25th, 2008 I presented to members of Adobe Creative Suite User Group in Poland (Warsaw) ways and rules of developing simple web and desktop based rich internet applications (RIA). The purpose of the meeting was the release of Adobe Flex 3 Builder and Adobe AIR 1.0 software.
