A few words about me

Contents:

Introduction

I graduated with distinction from AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Electronics) with M.Sc. degree in the field of Computer Science majoring in Computer Systems and from Academy of Music in Cracow (The Instrumental Faculty) with M.A. degree in the field of Organ Playing.

I also achieved E-learning by Design Certificate and the following IT certificates: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified Professional Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Developer and Certified Professional Adobe Flex 2 Developer.

For five years I ran my own company under studioInfo name (self employment). During that time I was administering computer networks and systems, managing IT resources, conducting software licensing and security audits. I also led training courses in IT security and operating computer software. In the meantime I published a few articles in computer magazines.

At present I work as a CIO (Chief Information Officer) in ZamKor Publishing House. There is e-learning projects management among my duties and responsibilities. Besides working on my interests in soft skills (e.g. instructional design, psychology of learning) I spend a lot of time developing RIA (Rich Internet Application) software usually for handling e-learning content.

As an IT Professional I am primarly concerned with methods of information (data) processing, sending, storing and presenting. As an employee I always follow the codes of engineering ethics which identify a specific precedence with respect to the engineer's consideration for the public, clients, employers, and the profession.
